Like good player will tell you, learning poker tells is critical to winning some the game. True. But what if you are playing some online poker? There will still be things that people give away about their game even when you do not see them.

You can analyze what they do when they play against you online. Here are some common things that you will see while playing poker on the internet:

Rant

No on is excused from announcing to the world that they are on a tilt. Be it playing around a poker table or playing online. When you play online, there will be players who complain about the game being rigged, or insult other players, or belittle someone with his words in the chatbox. Ranting paints someone’s forehead that he is on a tilt.

What should you do? Play against them and win.

Chat Revoked

Now think why their chat was revoked. These people might have said something in the past for the room to block their chat privileges. Most likely these online poker players are the kind who will also rant. Therefore, also tilt. You should know what to do to rake in chips from tilting players.

The Gloat

You will encounter players who love to gloat after winning a pot. Most of the time these are weak-tight players, erm losers. It is easy to play with these players since they love to pretend. The gloaters have also a high tendency to go on a tilt.

Rocket Scientist

You will see players who lecture in the chatbox how to play poker. Oh how you will love to see that they are wrong. Players like this are easy targets and often do not last long.

If you are one of those people that need to know the reason why you are going to dedicate your time to something – well then, this blog is for you. Why should you play poker? Why should you waste your time on playing a game that you might not be so good at because you do not practice?

Well, I am going to go through some of the most common reasons why people play poker and why you should get into it. One of the first reasons is the social rewards. How much fun is it to get together with your buddies for a game of poker? You can swap smack talk and stories and it is a grand old time.

Another reason is because of the money. To be perfectly honest, you can earn a lot of money in poker – that is something to think about!

Where once as it was seen as something of a shady, untrustworthy operation that was little more than a scam, it is now a sure bet that hundreds, if not thousands, of new players are joining online casinos as you read this. So what is the appeal?

For one thing, although online casinos lack the aspect of face to face surface interaction found in live, bricks and mortar casinos, they are endlessly more convenient.

Online gambling is efficient, there are far less distractions, and you can focus on your favorite game.

Besides that, at many online casinos, you can not only practice your favorite game, you can also play for free while doing so.

Plus, there is a huge variety of games.

And in stark contrast to how things used to be, the security measures in online casinos are as tight as Fort Knox these days.

One thing that you need to think about whenever you are dealing with playing poker is going in knowing that you are either going to win or that you are going to use. That is a fantastic way to ensure that your emotions do not get the better of you all of the time.

We are going to touch more on why emotional mood swings might happen when you are playing poker in the next blog!

I have to say that I think that T.J Cloutier is definitely one of those players that is incredible. The way that his mind works and the way that he seems to play poker in general is something that is totally incredible and mind boggling all the way around! Whether you are looking to learn from this guy or you are looking to play … this guy is absolutely one of the best players in the world.

He was born and raised in California and while today he lives in Texas, he started playing poker not too long enough and he actually ended up quitting his job in order to play poker follow time. T.J is actually ranked in the top and he definitely has taken home quite a few bracelets.

He has also written a whole lot of different poker books – so that is something that you should look for!

To be completely honest, I had absolutely no idea who Chris Ferguson was before I started writing for this blog but now? Well, this guy is definitely a legend in the online poker world and that – well, that is freaking incredible! Not only has this guy won 5 World Series of Poker bracelets, but he has also won over three million dollars, just by playing poker! That to me is incredible!

Chris was actually born in LA and he started playing poker super early, which would explain why he knows everything about the game. One thing that people notice most about Chris is the fact that he kind looks like Jesus – actually, that is his nick name! He goes by that sometimes and he actually has one of the best poker faces in the world … I know I would never want to face him!

His career is definitely one of the most successful in the world and I have to say that I would love to be Chris Ferguson – all of the time! So watch out for this guy if you ever get the chance to play him, he knows what he is doing!
